SMW Autoblok developed a lot of Twin Vices, here take into account the line of Spring and Air operated Twin Vices type STV The extremely compact design is perfectly suited for the automation process. The new Safety valve SAB-1 to maintain air pressure during pallet transportation or storage and machining without a feed is an available optional accessory. The stroke control of the jaws is possible in two ways. The first is the proximity stroke control switches that make it possible to query the master jaw position in an electric way, The other one is using the pneumatic jaw stroke control valve. To increase the clamping force besides the springs, it is possible to use the Turbo function. The STV-3 Power vices have protected master jaws with seals, which prevents the entry of swarf and chips into the interior of the power vice and at the same time extends the maintenance intervals enormously. In addition, Housing and functional parts are hardened for high precision and long life of the product. The STV-3 protected vice has a connection for air sensing and for the air purge.
